Do Solar power panels/invertesr emit radiation/EMF
 

I have been doing alot of research in solar and one thing that was asked that i dont know is, Do solar panels/inverters emit radiation/EMF aka Electro Magnetic Field???

As this has come up in other products i thought id ask here and if it is harmful to the human body?

Anything electrical has some degree of EMF.
You would get more 'radiation' sitting at your computer, than solar panels on the roof.
EMR is not the monster some people make out.
If you are really worried, wear tin foil clothing and hat.:evill

It was a concern a family member brought up...

I think a mobile phone is much worse than solar from what ive read...

For 30 years I have been working between 415v open mains...
Hmm?? Nothing wrong with me ??? aha
In most cases 1m away from 11kv mains..

The EMF from solar panels is next to nil because its DC but the Inverter has quite a bit because there is some switching in the KHz range and it can be at high currents. There are standards for emitted radiation in Australia.
