Old John
Have just purchased a very original XM, but like every thing that old we have bits that dont work,could someone point me in the right direction to purchase a indicator self cancelling unit.
I am also having trouble finding out what the B represents in the vin number XMBFD 103579 Help would be appreciated. |
John :
these guys in ACT can help : there are two types of switch - not sure when they changed over http://classicfalconspares.com/ you also see new ones on ebay re XM ID plates -sounds like you need to hook up with gxlr380: see this link was asking the same questions ( but no answers as yet) http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=11234185 brett melb |
My number is XMBED so off that chart it would mean a 1964 year and the month of August.
But its that B that is different. I have seen other threads that have had different 3rd letters. Could B mean Broadmeadows? Is it that simple? What do the others means then? (R=?) |
B=Brisbane was the assembly plant
E=May was month D=1964 was year Cheers, Paul |
Thanks Paul, your a legend.
Same month I was born, albeit 12 years prior and also a Queenslander!!! Thanks again, Bernie. |
