dammit, now ive got the munchies and no fast food shops open for another 3 hours

Sick of these health experts.

We don't need these morons to make decisions for us.

Apparently due to health reasons the 21 piece bucket is being phased out.
What about people with 6+ family members? It's hard enough providing takeaway food for that number of people as it is. Now what? We have to buy multiple small meals that'll cost $60 a feed?????
I wouldn't expect these "health experts" to understand, after all they live alone, are 70yrs+ of age and as a result have had their gall bladders extracted rendering them unable to process unhealthy food, which outcomes in sheer jealousy.

Bottom line we don't need Nazi's who aren't far off PETA enforcing their lifestyle on us by limiting the amount of "unhealthy products".

If they want to enforce this mentality without corruption then take away everything that harms humans. (smokes, alcohol etc.).

It's like changing to a plastic intake manifold and believing we've solved our global carbon issues.

Interceptor 23-08-2009 12:09 PM

lets just skip McDonalds Australia no longer offering extra large softdrinks when you can still buy it by the 44 over in america.....

Here here! I'm over it too personally. But if you ask them they are thinking "in the general interest". If people want to eat themselves to death then so be it, that's their problem.

Also, AS IF GET RID OF ALCOHOL! Mmmm beer.

Fev 23-08-2009 03:06 PM

It's too bad alot of people actually NEED to be told what to do though..

Then it becomes the tax payer's problem.

Breathe in, Breathe Out.

Even then it's a struggle............

The fillets would be more expensive but they are not wrapping the burger in a bun.

Tell us what you really think!

I don't really think using the term "Nazi's" is appropriate though. You might also want to look at your facts there, generally they aren't 70+ and just because you don't have a gall bladder does not mean you can't eat unhealthy food.

XR6_661 24-08-2009 01:17 PM

Looks disgustingly delicious.

Quad stacker at hungrys was a doozey, I felt sick after consuming 1.

dandandandan 24-08-2009 01:50 PM

Aussie Burger +Chicken Patty -Tomato -Chicken Sauce best next day after hard night breakfast let me tell you best enjoyed with a cold jacks and coke just make sure they dont see you bring the bottle into the store as they frown when you measure a shot after visiting the coke machine haha

and you dont need to eat anything else for the rest of the day cause it just sits there haha

have thought about trying this combo at a proper burger joint namely Alfreds Kitchen here in WA... best burger joint by far.

*drools at the double pounder*

im hanging out for maccas next burger, called a "angus burger" its patty is bigger than a quater pounder patty. gonna be similar to the backyard burger from what ive been told by a friend

Velociraptor82 24-08-2009 06:53 PM

I'd love to have a try of that "double down". Not becasue it is unhealthy but because it is different. I'm not saying I'd eat it everyday obviosly just a once off.

The fact is I think the public should have the freedom to choose for themselves not some nutrion expert deciding for us. These days Maccas have all the nutrion information on the packaging. If this was made compulsory througout the industry we would have all the information to decide for ourselves if it is too unhealthy. If the public don't buy it then it would just become a marketing flop.

I only said that to derogate them as they're nazi's. The term Nazi is used when an individual/group enforce their beliefs on others. Which is no different to what these guys do. It would be improper to call them nazi's if they recommended instead of enforced but they enforce their beliefs just like nazi's.

I wouldn't have a problem for it if they weren't so ignorant.

If you took the bread away from a say quarter pounder, these people would attack it more than if it had the bread in the first place despite the fact the one with the bun (sugar yeast etc) would be more unhealthy. Throughout childhood we're raised to automatically perceive something that looks like that to be unhealthy, because we've been taught meat on cheese is the ONLY unhealthy thing in the world. But disguise it with bread and it's healthy all of a sudden. They're not blind they know this but use this cultural technique to exploit the people who don't.
A double quarter pounder is worse to your health than that KFC meat burger.
That's why these guys will be nothing more than failed doctors.

Iggypoppin' 24-08-2009 08:54 PM

If kfc bring the double down down under, I'll eat one everyday for a month hopefully I'll finally put some weight on.

My view is, "Don't like it, don't have it."

People are entitled to the occasional treat. It only becomes a problem when people overindulge.

My parents TOLD me that I can do what I want, as long as it's in moderation.

As a result, I don't overindulge. Good system.

Well, maybe just chocolate...

Hanhdorf Inn? I had a burger there and it was big, but nothing out of the ordinary. But I guess I'm just used to eating big burgers.

We should make a new thread: Who here's eaten non-exotic fast food in the most exotic country? I want to go to this place.

Badcooky 27-08-2009 02:14 PM
